Lets talk about the gorgeous energy that our pets share with us. That's what my animal portraits are all about. I bring them to life by beginning with a slightly shiny silver base because let's face it, our pets deserve a bit of glam. Then the portrait is created in oil paint and finally I add the unique energy of your companion. The paintings are monochromatic (art-speak for one colour) to enhance the inner light of your pet.
Jasper, my little doxie.
These portraits are 8 x 10 inches oil on wood panel, ready to hang without a frame, but of course you may add a frame if you wish. A commissioned portrait is $300. I will ask you send me photographs, or help you to create a photo that will work. I promise to treat the creation of art for you with the greatest respect for both you and your pet. Once we have decided on a photo and you give me the "go ahead" I will send you an invoice for $150 to secure my services. The $150 balance will be due once you have approved an image of the finished painting.
I usually ask for 3 weeks to complete a project, but I am willing to work with your time constraints whenever possible.
